Coaching in Motion

"Coaching in Motion" brings wellness to life by showing, not just telling. Our guests have the opportunity to  see healthy food choices firsthand, understand portion sizes, and experience how easy it is to incorporate fun fitness into their weekly routines. Moving through beautiful natural settings, we create space to surround ourselves with positive vibes and like-minded people, reinforcing motivation and inspiration with every step. This dynamic approach helps you truly feel the benefits of self-care, turning healthy habits into an engaging, uplifting part of your lifestyle.

The Science 

Walking and talking outdoors has been scientifically proven to decrease stress, improve mood, and enhance cognitive function. Exposure to natural environments promotes mental clarity and emotional balance, creating the perfect backdrop for fresh perspectives and creative thinking. This relaxed, open mindset encourages personal growth, helping individuals identify new possibilities and develop strategies for sustainable lifestyle changes.

  • What is included with each tour?
    Tour Details: The exact tour stops are flexible! 🌟 Each experience is tailored to the vibe of the group, so expect a few fun surprises along the way. We’ll keep things spontaneous and open to what the group feels like exploring, ensuring every tour is unique and memorable! That said, the following items will always be consistently offered on every tour: Sip and Stroll includes your choice of a complimentary beverage 🍹, perfect for a leisurely walk; Savor the Sea offers a delicious meal 🍽️ paired with your preferred drink 🥂, celebrating coastal flavors; Bridges to Books includes a complimentary beverage OR sweet treat AND a surprise inspirational book 📚 to read after the tour, allowing for a peaceful post-adventure escape. Each tour also includes: 🌱 Access to one of Coach Tara's health & wellness challenges (Building Healthy Habits Challenge, Mindfulness Challenge, or Clean Eating Challenge) 🎒 Health & Happiness Tour cotton backpack 📸 Limitless photo ops 💫 Meaningful memories 🤝 New connections 🎁 A few surprises :)
  • Is there a specific itinerary for each tour?
    "Great question! 😊 While each tour has a general flow, the specific stops and topics can shift based on the group's vibe and interests. We love keeping things flexible and fun! 🎉 For example, if everyone’s curious about mindful eating, we might dive deeper into tasty nutrition tips or visit a spot known for healthy, local treats. 🥗🍓 Or if self-care is the hot topic, we’ll spend extra time sharing simple, soul-nourishing practices. 🌸💆‍♀️ No matter what, you’ll leave with fresh inspiration, practical wellness tools, and a heart full of happy memories!" 💙🏖️✨
  • What should I bring?
    Besides your beautiful spirit and camaraderie 😊, we highly recommend you bring the following items: Bookbag Sunscreen Sunglasses Water bottle Towel/Beach blanket (for Savor the Sea)
  • Who can tour?
    1. AGE: Although we LOVE children 😍, our group tours require all guests to be 18 and older to ensure the most pleasant experience possible for all. We do have the option of booking a private tour with special accommodations for children. Please contact Coach Tara to discuss details and rates at 757-713-2524. 2. SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS: Due to the nature of the tours, there are multiple terrains involved to travel upon (ie. sand, stairs, etc) and your safety comes first. If you use a mobility device or need special assistance, please contact Coach Tara at the # above to discuss options. .
  • What should I wear?
    Great question! Mother Nature can be quite unpredictable 🌦️ so we suggest checking the weather ahead of time for the anticipated forecast. It is often a little windy down here at the coast as well so a light rain jacket would be a great option to prepare you for rain/wind. We recommend comfortable outdoor attire, and, most importantly, comfortable walking shoes! And, tennis shoes 👟 specifically, for the Bridges to Books adventure. For Savor the Sea we recommend bringing a pair of flip flops along for our beach walk if you prefer to not get your walking shoes sandy.
  • How many people are on the tours?
    *Each tour can accommodate up to 4 total guests per scheduled tour. If you have a group of 2-4 and want everyone to attend, you will need to each reserve a spot at the same time to ensure there are openings. Please note, you can reach out to us at any time at 757-713-2524 if you have more questions! 😉
  • What if the weather is bad?
    If there is a significant weather event, including major rain/thunder storms, the Savor the Sea and Bridges to Books tours will be cancelled with a full refund. We can still "Sip and Stroll" 🍵 for the most part so this tour will happen rain or shine unless, of course, there is a major event of some sort. Our goal is to keep everyone safe, first and foremost.
  • What if I am running late for the tour?
    We recommend planning on arriving at least 15-30 minutes prior to tour start time especially during the busy Summer months when parking can be limited. Tours will begin promptly at scheduled times, however, if something unexpected does come up, please call Coach Tara at 757-713-2524 and we will do our best to accommodate.
  • Do I need to sign anything?
    Yes, pretty please! Once you request a booking, you will receive a waiver/disclosure that is required to be completed before the tour.
  • Where to I park?
    Excellent question! Parking is tour specific and all the details will be sent to you via email once you are booked!🚗
